Peer Review Process

Call for papers

1. Introduction

The peer review process is a fundamental aspect of scholarly publishing that ensures the integrity, quality, and credibility of academic research. Our international journal follows a double-blind peer review system to maintain impartiality and scholarly standards.

2. Types of Peer Review

We adopt the Double-Blind Review method:

  • Author identity is concealed from reviewers
  • Reviewer identity is concealed from authors

This approach minimizes biases and promotes objective evaluations based solely on content.

3. Stages of Peer Review Process

  1. Submission:
Authors submit manuscripts online through the journal's submission portal, ensuring compliance with the journal’s guidelines and ethical standards.
  2. Initial Screening:
The editorial team reviews submissions to check:
    • Plagiarism less than 15% will be allowed.
Submissions failing at this stage are desk-rejected.
  3. Assignment to Reviewers:
Suitable manuscripts are assigned to 2–3 independent experts with relevant domain knowledge.
  4. Review by Experts:
    Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
    • Originality and novelty
    • Research design and methodology
    • Data analysis and interpretation
    • Relevance of references
    • Clarity, structure, and contribution to the field
Reviewers provide constructive comments and suggestions for improvement.
  5. Editorial Decision:
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor may decide:
    • Accept (without or minor revisions)
    • Revise and Resubmit (major or minor revisions)
    • Reject
Authors receive anonymized reviewer feedback with editorial comments.
  6. Revision and Resubmission:
Authors revise the manuscript addressing each comment with a detailed response letter. The revised version may be re-evaluated by original or new reviewers.
  7. Final Acceptance:
Upon satisfactory revision and final approval, the article is accepted, assigned a DOI, and sent for copyediting and production.

4. Reviewer Guidelines

  • Maintain confidentiality and anonymity
  • Declare any conflicts of interest
  • Provide objective, unbiased, and constructive feedback
  • Submit reviews within the stipulated timeline (usually 2–4 weeks)

5. Plagiarism Check

Before review, all manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using standard tools. Submissions with more than 15% similarity index may be returned or rejected.

6. Time Frame

  • Initial Screening: 5–7 days
  • Review Process: 3–6 weeks
  • Revisions: 2–3 weeks (per round)
  • Final Decision: Within 2 weeks of revision

7. Ethical Considerations

Our journal adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Any form of academic misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission) is taken seriously and may lead to rejection or retraction.
